Healthy Living for Children

To set about helping the planet it is important firstly to keep yourself as healthy as possible. Try eating more fruit and vegetables and less sugary snacks and drinks. It is also very important to drink lots of water and fluid, as our bodies are made up of about 70% water and we need topping up regularly.

Exercise is also very important; walking, skateboarding, dancing swimming or cycling; anything that gets you moving. If you can walk instead of riding the bus to school, this is not only good exercise but saves money and prevents more pollution. There are lots of activities you can do rather than just watching TV. Playing outside in the fresh air with your friends is not only great fun but also very good for you. Remember always put your sun cream on in sunny weather!

When you are playing outside NEVER talk to strangers, or go off with them no matter what they say.

Keep checking back here as it will be updated with new recipes every week. It only takes small changes to make a big difference.
