Strawberries
Strawberries are also a member of the berry family. They are bright red and full of nutrients. Please click here to see Dan’s strawberry plants.

Plum
Plums are a smooth skinned fruit, which contains a stone. They are used for many different things e. g to make jam or thick syrups or to just eat.

Blueberries
Blueberries are also a member of the berry family, which flower from May and fruit at August. The juice of a blueberry is white.

Kiwi
Kiwi fruits are a type of Chinese gooseberries. The whole of the fruit is edible, although most people don’t eat the skin. Kiwis grow on vines & flower and fruit in September.

Lemon
Lemons are bright yellow and also a member of the citrus family, It has a strong fresh smell and is very sour. They are not only used for cooking but cleaning as well.

Lime
A lime is another member of the citrus family it is a similar shape to a lemon but green and a little bit smaller in size. It has a sharp flavour and it is mostly used in drinks or for decoration.

Apricot
The apricot is originally from eastern Asia, and is member of the Rose family. The have a stone in the middle and soft furry skin. Apricots are often dried and make an ideal snack.

Tomato
Most people think tomatoes are vegetables, this is not true, they are a fruit that grows on a vine! Tomatoes are commonly used in salads and sauces.

Cherry
A cherry is a red and black soft fruit, which contains a stone. Cherries always have to be picked when ripe for the best flavour.

Grapefruit
Grapefruits are large yellow citrus fruits often cut into segments. They have a thick skin, which is removed before eaten and they are very sour in taste
