Flower Pressing
Florence the Earthworm says
When flowers or leaves die, they do not have to be left to shrivel. Try placing the flowers between the pages of a book or special flower press to make them flat.
By doing this you can keep them for a long time or maybe put them in a frame.
Pressing flowers takes a while, so you should leave them in the book or press until they are ready. Try checking them once a week, if you are using a book put other heavy books on top. Remember to only pick flowers you are allowed to, not your Nan’s favourites! Collect different types from places such as the coast and the forest, but remember some are rare and should not be picked. See the links page and you can see a full list of rare and protected plants and flowers at English Plants.co.uk/protection
