May 2009 : Dan The Gardener Newsletter
Dan The Gardener On the Site

Welcome to Dan The Gardeners May Newsletter.

Well as always it has been a busy time here in Three Little Woods, sowing seeds and getting Nan Fran's allotment all in order.

In May we will be focusing on Butterflies. Gigi the butterfly will be telling us all why her friends are dwindling mainly due to habitat loss. So it will be every important to read what she has to say. Gigi will be focusing on the Red Admiral Butterfly as I expect most of you have seen one of those.

There will also be an interactive book called Lettuce and the Butterfly from the foodies group in the book corner, along with a project How to Make a Butterfly Haven.

Plus we have a special offer to new members either individual or schools.

Free packets of seeds to the first 20 new members to join the Dan The Gardeners Bugs Club during May, so tell your friends. (Offer applies to UK only) Our members range from aged 2 to 75 from Lands End to Mexico, children, parents, teachers and grandparents.
